Description

This activity is ready to upload in your Google Classroom to use for distance learning.

This pack contains FIVE different fraction activities for your students to practice different fraction skills.

The first page requires students to determine whether a given shape is cut into halves, thirds, or fourths. Then, they have to sort them into the correct place.

The second page requires students to compare given fraction circles to one half. They are going to determine whether a fraction is greater than, less than, or equal to one half. Then, students will sort them into the correct place.

On the third page, students will determine whether a given fraction is greater than or less than one-whole to sort them into the correct place.

The next two pages require students to drag fractions to their correct placements on a given number line. One page has fractions between 0 and 1 while the second page includes improper fractions and whole numbers greater than 1.

**** I hope you and your students enjoy these activities!

This product can also be used as a printable! The slides will fit nicely only a regular 8.5 x 11 paper. If you choose to print this resource, it can be used as a cut & paste activity with your students.

This resource was incredibly helpful in building my students’ understanding of fractions. It used clear visuals, interactive activities, and real-world examples that made abstract concepts easier to grasp. Students were engaged and enjoyed the hands-on practice, which helped reinforce key skills like comparing, simplifying, and adding fractions. I saw a noticeable improvement in their confidence and ability to explain their thinking. The lessons were well-structured and adaptable for different learning levels, making it easy to differentiate. Overall, this resource made learning fractions fun, accessible, and effective. I highly recommend it to any teacher looking to strengthen their students’ fraction skills.

Great activity. I did alter it to sort fractions greater than less than 1/2, equal to 1/2 greater than 1.
