On asking a Direct What Question, this can be followed with a Reverse WHAT questions on common item functions. Reserve What questioning strengthens the student’s understanding of the common item function.

Direct WHAT Question - with Multiple Choice answers

On achieving this, the student needs to move on the next level where the student will be taught using the Direct WHAT questions on the function of a common item followed with three function Images as options, of which one is the right answer. The student will need to identify the right answer.

We have concentrated on 20 common items. Each of these common items will have 5 related flash cards:

· The image of the common item and the WHAT question (20 flash cards). Printable as 2 cards per page and 4 cards per page. For example, “What do you do with a pencil?”.

· The image of common item function, and the answer to the What question. (20 flash cards). Printable as 2 cards per page and 4 cards per page. For example, “You write with a pencil.”

· The image of the common item function, and the reverse WHAT question questioning the common item function (20 flash cards). Printable as 2 cards per page and 4 cards per page. For example, “What do you write with?”
