Fall Leaf Color Writing Project
Share

Description

This is a perfect beginning of the year writing project for our youngest writers! Students write about the color of fall leaves and what they might do with the leaves. Three levels of writing pages are included - one for students just learning how to make their letters, one for students practicing full sentences, and one for the independent writer. Finished pages make a great bulletin board display! There are color word flashcards included for you to print for students to reference as they write. You can print the color page, or the black and white page and quickly fill in the appropriate color. (That's what I did!) There are also big leaf clipart pages for students to color to add to your bulletin board display. One leaf is easier to cut out. The other is good cutting practice! Please check it out and enjoy!!

I did this with my DK students as soon as the leaves started falling and they absolutely loved doing it. It was a great way for the students to practice using their colors and they loved that we had to go outside to do the lesson. They also really enjoyed getting to share them with their families. They were very proud of what they had created.
