Molecules of the Fall is a great way to connect your classroom with the Fall Season! This product is a focused version of Molecule Monday's and covers the following:

• Carotenoids & Flavonoids - Fall colors
• Epinephrine & Cortisol - Feelings of fear
• Theobromine - Chocolate
• Tryptophan - Does turkey really make you sleepy?
• Eugenol & Isoeugenol - Nutmeg and Cloves

Molecules of the Fall has a ready to use PowerPoint with structures and pictures of the molecules, and a Teacher Guide with molecule descriptions and links to 3-5 minute videos about the molecules!

At the beginning of class, post the chosen molecule. If desired, use the brief description provided in the Teacher’s Guide to introduce the molecule then show the corresponding video and/or do the hands-on activity. Estimated time from beginning to end is just 10 minutes!
