Description

These worksheets can be given to the students as a booklet or as individual worksheets. They can be used as an instructional tool, in a small group lesson, in a literacy center, as a review, given as homework, or in any other way you see fit.
In each worksheet the student colors in the day of the week and writes the date (the number) and the last two digits of the year. Then, the student gets to practice writing high frequency word combinations starting with tracing it, and then, writing it on their own.
The first page can be used as a tracking sheet for the students to monitor their work in this workbook.
The absence of distracting graphics such as borders and other decorations are a purposeful design choice to prevent pulling focus away from the learning and task at hand.
