In this engaging activity, students review figurative language (metaphor, alliteration, allusion, idioms, simile, hyperbole, onomatopoeia, and personification.). Students also get to preview novels and look at current song lyrics. It makes learning fun, engaging, kinesthetic, and relevant. Save yourself a bunch of time and purchase this activity today!

Met expectations
Great value

This was my first time trying a question trail and my students loved it! They liked getting to walk around the classroom as they worked their way through the trail. There was one question that stumped my students (and honestly kind of stumped me, too. I don't think it was the best example of that type of figurative language), but I ended up marking that one for them so they could complete the rest of the trail. Will definitely try more question trails in the future!

This is FANTASTIC! It challenged my students, but I love that they had to problem solve to find their errors. These examples made them really think about each type of figurative. It was an incredibly beneficial activity.

Question trails are always fun and get the kids thinking and pushing their knowledge. I love that it gives them feedback if they make a mistkae without me having to tell them. Their mistakes are pointed out to them by coming back to a question but then they have to work through it, not just get the answer. I appreciate this work in perseverance.
