Farmer Frank will take your students through direct instruction, guided practice, and independent practice, as they have a blast learning this fun standard. At the end of the presentation, students will have a chance to practice a slide of Common Core Constructed Response to sum up what they have learned. So, take your students to get down and dirty on the farm to learn alliteration and practice their figurative language skills!

This was such a fun, engaging way for students to learn figurative language. I absolutely love the slides so of my students.
I enjoyed using this resource for my online 6th graders. The short mini-lessons and engaging slides were very entertaining for my students.
Such a fantatic addition to my figurative langauge bag of tricks. With the number of English Langauge Learners increasing, the need for direct instruction has become more apparant and this unit helped.
