Description

The Bill of Rights secured the passage of the US Constitution and guarantees rights and liberties for its citizens. The first amendment includes five specific freedoms: religion, assembly, petition, press, and speech. These rights are fundamental to all citizens.

In this poster project, students will choose three individuals from US History that applied the First Amendment in their actions and create a digital poster that describes how these individuals (separately) applied the first amendment (what did they do?) along with why this is still important to us today. An MYP rubric is included.
