Description
This is a great activity for the first day of school. You can read "First Day Jitters" to your students then talk about how they are feeling on the first day of school. I've done this activity in the past and students were frustrated because they couldn't draw how they feel, now they don't have to! They can choose the face that represents how they feel, write their name, color and sort! The first page contains the labels for your anchor chart. The next four pages are for your students to choose how they feel. They can write their name and color the face without the pressure of drawing how they feel on the first day! Enjoy!

Quick and Easy Resources\
This was a great resource for the first day of school that took no prep time.
I use every year on the 1st day of school. It's a great way to get kids out of their seats and starts them comparing and contrasting information right away.
This was great. Very useful. My students loved it. Thank you!
Very resourceful! I enjoyed using this within my classroom!
This helped a lot this year. I had two students new to our school who were having a hard time transitioning. I was able to a good read on where they were and how they were struggling.
I wanted them to make a bar graph to tie into Bridges Math the first week of second grade. We used sticky notes to make our graph. So easy.
