This digital resouce will help keep your first grade math mini lesson mini- while at the same time ensuring ample opportunity for students to practice using place value to add tens mentally-- and the most important part of any math block centers!

How I Use This Resource

As a 1st grade teacher myself, I use this resource as a supplement to the enVision math program. When students are seated I can use this resource as a review before we begin centers, the independent practice is a perfect formative assessment.

My district uses the Canvas platform to ensure all students have access to quality learning materials whether their learning from school or from home. I link the mini-lesson video to my Canvas Announcement and embed the Jamboard link into my daily announcements.

Accessing Your Resource

You will recieve a PDF file with ALL links inside. The links to the student Jamboard, video explaination of how to use the Jamboard have already been embedded into the Google Slides presentation. I have included separate links on the "Accessing Your Resource" page to the video mini lesson and the jamboard explanation.

Using Your Resource
