Student-friendly, measurable objectives (SFLT: Student-friendly learning target)
Driving Questions: allows students to draw their own connections between the activity and their own knowledge, and the outcome and broader learning goal (the driving question)
Opportunities for the content to chunked into small manageable pieces and student discussion.
Three parts to a “purposeful” lesson structure: using before (activate prior knowledge), during (engage), after (reflect on the content of the lesson).
