Are you looking for a first grade addition and subtraction within 100 math unit? In this unit students will use place value and strategies such as fact families, doubles +`1 and making 10.

This unit will provide four weeks of detailed math instruction.

First Grade Math Unit 9 Concepts:

  • Add and Subtract within 20
  • Determine the unknown whole number in an addition or subtraction problem
  • Understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem
  • Add two-digit numbers and a one-digit number, using concrete models or drawings
  • Adding a two-digit number and a multiple of 10, using concrete models or drawings
