This chart is recommended for school aged children (PreK-1st grades). The purpose of the First, Then Chart is to manage student behaviors with the use of positive reinforcements. The classroom teacher can provide his/her student the opportunity to earn rewards and/or privileges throughout the school day by using this visual motivational tool to encourage the student to stay on task.
This chart can be effective for keeping students on task during carpet activities, however it may take some time before you see results.
