"The students love how they could check their work against their peers based on the color of the picture. This allowed for much discussion amongst them."

"I love a glyph- so easy to see who needs extra help! I used this as my small group station, and had the kids write in pencil which color they needed to use. When they got to me, I was easily able to help correct before everything was colored in! The kids really enjoyed it!"

Description
This activity is a fun way to practice multi-step word problems over all operations!
Students will answer 8 multi-step problems that will show them how to color their fish bowl.
**I've also put the questions onto task cards so you can use them in a center or small group!!
I love glyph activities because they’re so easy to check. As I circulate the room, I double check that the picture is being colored correctly. When I see a student with an incorrect color, I know JUST who to help first!

This is a great resource. I used it with my 3rd graders.
Great for an early finisher or for morning work.
I used the TPT Easel with this activity and my distance learners enjoyed it.
Students enjoyed solving the word problems to color each part of the picture. Used as partner work.
My kids really enjoyed the coloring aspect of this activity, some of the word problems were really difficult for them (as ELL's) but we worked through them.
