By assuming the role of a Historical Logistics Team, students must prove they can manage a complex $12,000 budget with professional precision and convince board members that their methods were the most efficient when planning a 7 day time travel expedition.
Knowledge and Skills Covered:
💡 Knowledge: Add & subtract integers and decimals, short multiplication, long multiplication, short division, long division, and mental calculations and estimation.
✍️ Skills: Choose efficient mental or written methods, estimate and check answers, justify method choice (mental vs written), and use reasoning to explain financial decisions.
