These procedure writing prompts are a must-have for teaching how to writing. These procedural writing prompts are no prep and perfect for 4th grade writing lessons or writing centers.
This resource is ideal if you are looking for informational writing prompts, paper, sentence starters, templates, or graphic organizers!
This is no prep, simply print and go! Fun and seasonal topics are included (such as Christmas, Valentine's, St. Patrick's, Winter etc).

These how to writing worksheets are common core aligned to the grade 4 writing standard:
Write informative/explanatory texts to examine a topic and convey ideas and information clearly.
Introduce a topic clearly. Develop the topic with facts, concrete details, or other information and examples. Link ideas within categories of information using words and phrases (e.g., another, for example, also, because). Use precise language and vocabulary to explain the topic. Provide a concluding statement or section.
Note: These worksheets can still be used for fifth graders who are working below their grade level.
