Daily Fraction Number Sense Routines are a proven way to build understanding and improve performance. Visualize, partition, name, count, compare, contrast, estimate and reason BEFORE adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing. These templates can provide YEARS of thoughtful reasoning and visual practice. They are appropriate in Grades 3,4,5,6 and even 7. You can use the same template for a Grade 3 intervention or a Grade 7 challenge based on the numbers you choose.

I have included 3-4 slides with new numbers for each routine, with notes & samples to help you take over and fell confident creating your own examples. Want to stick with the most basic fractions? Fine. Want to use negative numbers? Go for it.
