You will download 30 fraction task cards for your 4th or 5th grade math students to practice solving word problems by multiplying fractions, including mixed numbers, improper fractions, and whole numbers. Nine of the cards are fractions by fractions, 12 of the cards are fraction by whole number, and the remaining nine cards are mixed number by whole number or by a fraction.

You may use them in your centers, task boxes, or independent work stations for scavenger hunt activities or SCOOT games. They also work well as exit tickets, for morning work, bell ringers, early finishers, test prep, emergency sub plans, intervention work, and as quick formative assessments. Game ideas, a student response form, and answer key are included.
