Description
This FREE fractions on a number line worksheet helps 2nd and 3rd grade students practice identifying and understanding fractions as numbers. The activity is also helpful for special education students who benefit from visual models and guided practice.
Students watch a short video (under two minutes) that introduces the concept of fractions on a number line. After viewing the video, they complete the worksheet quiz to check their understanding. This activity works well as an introduction to the 3rd grade Common Core math standard CCSS.Math.Content.3.NF.A.1.
