Description
After a lot of trial and error this spring, I finally landed on these Daily Check-In Forms as a way to take attendance AND take the temperature of my students learning from home. Staying connected at a distance is challenging...and time consuming! Using a standard format and consistent questions with just a pinch of variety seemed to be the right balance for student check-ins. Students knew what to expect and that they'd always have a chance to let me know how they were doing. I could harness the power of Google Forms to be able to tell at a glance who needed extra support that day.
With this download, you'll receive THIRTY editable, postable Google Forms...enough to see you through six weeks. Each Google Form is 100% in French with visual comprehension support and includes the following sections:
La Date
Nom
L'Heure du cours
La Question du Jour*
Écris-moi un Mot...*
Ça ne va pas...*
Questions pour le/la prof
*These sections might be a bit of a stretch for French 1 or early French 2 students to engage with even with the visual support. You might consider modeling how to answer them or even...gasp!...translating to keep easily frustrated students learning from home engaged.
Be sure to download TEN additional forms (with different questions of the day than this collection!) for FREE here: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREEBIE-French-Distance-Learning-Daily-Check-In-Forms-5789826
With the free download, I've also included some suggestions for how to use the forms creatively when you're able to help keep interest and engagement high...with TpT regulations on the number of files per folder, I couldn't include that document here, so be sure to download the freebies as well!
Hope these forms help you streamline your digital or hybrid learning this year and save you tons of time! Bon courage!
