Description
This activity is a card sort activity you can use at the start of a lesson on friction, or maybe even at the end to lead a class into discussing science and improving students' science communications.
The students sort the statements as TRUE FALS and PARTIALLY TRUE.
This can lead to a discussion to find out what they chose to be true or false.
Where students choose partially true you can ask them questions to determine why:
Can you give examples where this is true?
Can you give examples where this is false??
If you want to use these over and over again, then you could laminate them. You can use this activity as an engagement activity to a lesson on Friction.
The activity is FREE for you to download and use.
Enjoy :)
