This ❤ Google Interactive Activity ❤ is an engaging practice of working with "Writing Polynomial Functions Given its Zeros" . This is a BLENDED Activity as a HARD COPY of the activity is included in this product. This products has a total of 12 questions. This activity is great for DIFFERENTIATION.

This activity is self-checking. At the end of the activity, students would have found 12 groups of letters (for each level). Students would need to place these letters side by side and then "add spaces" as needed to produce a "FUN FACT". The "FUN FACT" will only happen if student picks the right puzzle piece.
My students appreciated this type of activity as it allowed them to be independent and find their "own mistakes" before seeking any help.
In this activity students are asked to:
☑ Work with MONOMIAL IRRATIONAL Zeros (ex: √2, −√6, ...)
☑ Work with MONOMIAL IMAGINARY (PURE) Zeros (ex: 5i, −7i, ...)
☑ Write a polynomial function with the given zeros
☑ There are multiple zeros, hence, the term MULTIPLICITY is used in this activity
Questions Format:(Take a look at the preview above)
☑ 2 Monomial Irrational Zeros are given per question
☑ 2 Pure Imaginary Zeros are given per question
☑ 1 Monomial Irrational Zero and 1 Pure Imaginary Zero per question
☑ The Degree of the resulting Polynomial Function is Fourth Degree
Students should feel comfortable with:
☑ CONJUGATE ROOT THEOREM (Find the missing Zero of the Irrational & Pure Imaginary Roots)
☑ Changing Irrational Zeros to Linear Factors
☑ Changing Pure Imaginary Zeros to Linear Factors
☑ Multiplying Linear Factors (Distributive Property or other techniques)
☑ Multiplying Complex Numbers (Recognize that i² = 1)
☑ The meaning of the term MULTIPLICITY
In this activity students will be using Google Slides. Some students used their computers, some used their phones, while others used their IPADs. As long as there is a Google Drive there is a way.
The answer key is included in the file. I usually share it when all assignments are turned in "Electronically"
