Great resource for kids to get up and move around while practicing functions.
Used this to help review functions going into an algebra 2 unit. We did a quick mini lesson followed by this!
I love task cards to work alone, in stations, or in groups!
My Algebra 2 students mostly enjoyed this function notation task cards activity. I printed & laminated the cards as a scavenger hunt around the room. There only comment is that there were a lot of cards, so I would probably reduce the number of task cards that they have to complete in the future. Overall, great resource for my Algebra 2 students!
These were great to use with my students. Some of the questions were challenging (the ones where you were replacing f(x) with another variable. I had a few students who weren't sure what to do so it led to great conversations).
Great resource
Great during the distance learning teaching!

CCSS8.F.A.1
Understand that a function is a rule that assigns to each input exactly one output. The graph of a function is the set of ordered pairs consisting of an input and the corresponding output.
CCSSHSF-IF.A.1
Understand that a function from one set (called the domain) to another set (called the range) assigns to each element of the domain exactly one element of the range. If π§ is a function and πΉ is an element of its domain, then π§(πΉ) denotes the output of π§ corresponding to the input πΉ. The graph of π§ is the graph of the equation πΊ = π§(πΉ).
CCSSHSF-IF.A.2
Use function notation, evaluate functions for inputs in their domains, and interpret statements that use function notation in terms of a context.
