Description

Here's a set of dancing skeleton functions posters to decorate your algebra or algebra 2 classroom for Halloween. They're a fun way to remind students of the various nonlinear functions they are learning about in class.

Functions included: linear, quadratic, cubic, radical square root, cube root, absolute value, exponential, rational

  • y = x
  • y = -x
  • y = x^2
  • y = -x^2
  • y = x^3
  • y = -x^3
  • y = sqrt(x)
  • y = -sqrt(x)
  • y = x^(1/3) written as cube root
  • y = |x|
  • y = -|x|
  • y = b^x
  • y = 1/x
  • and the circle formula x^2 + y^2 = r^2 (even though it isn't a function)

This download includes 2 versions of the posters— a set with a black background and a set with a white background. The white set can be printed on colored paper or card stock to create colorful Halloween math classroom décor.
