Some of the notes were in between being space notes and line notes (especially viola), making it confusing for students to tell what each pitch was. On one version, the directions said "draw the notes above", but the others said "copy the note names", which made it harder to explain to a class that used all 4 versions of the worksheet simultaneously. Lastly, the ledger lines on the violin worksheet were so long that it looked like an entirely new 6th line for the staff, causing confusion with some students.
