My middle school students have mild to moderate intellectual disabilities and are being taught using a functional curriculum. We wanted to learn about Georgia since that is an 8th grade standard. However, the materials I could find were over our ability levels. I created an adapted cut and paste activity to help my students learn three of the major rivers in Georgia. One is a simple cut and paste and the other is the same sheet with color coded visual prompting.
