Description
Are your students struggling with Go Math Lesson 2.3? Are they finding it confusing to model division with 2-digit divisors using base-10 blocks? This work mat is the perfect way to help make the concept more clear. Have your students write the problem at the top, then the dividend and divisor. Place Base 10 blocks in the dividend box, then distribute following the number on the side of the divisor box. Students should be able to see the quotient when all blocks are distributed. Mat can be laminated and written on with dry erase markers, or make copies and let students draw their Base 10 blocks once the concept becomes more clear.
