This PowerPoint presentation is based on the introduction workbook pages to chapter 5 in Go Math for grade 3. It follows the problems listed in the "show what you know" section of the workbook. I use it instead of the workbook so students can use white boards, or it can be used in conjunction to the workbook. It covers all concepts of the introduction as a review of concepts to build on before beginning chapter 5. I use this in my classroom to prepare the students for the upcoming concepts and launch the new chapter.

Concepts reviewed:
-add tens
-regroup tens and hundreds
-multiplication facts through 9
-reviewing vocabulary using a tree map
-using review words and preview words by filling in the blank
-solving a real world story problem
