Description
Do your students struggle with comprehension? Would a comprehension power goals help your students? This packet is a step by step resource that will help your students gradually grow so that they are able to determine how characters respond to major events and challenges. They will progress through the following sequence: task cards, short stories, picture books, and chapter books. All the activities will focus on helping your students learn to identify major events and challenges. Your students will also learn how characters respond to these events and what the characters learned from the challenge. An assessment is provided at the end to help show you if your students have mastered this standard.
