WOW! Having students check in daily has greatly impacted how I respond to behaviors and needs of students. Each day students mark using a post it note or magnet where they are. I then check in with each student throughout the day. My students have also moved where they are throughout the day, This has made me more aware as a teacher how my students are feeling throughout the day to inform how I teach. Students are better able to identify their feelings and use strategies to be able to learn.
