Description

*This is the digital version of my Graphing Rational Functions Cut and Paste Activity activity! Great to use for Distance Learning or Sub Plans!*

This NO PREP DIGITAL activity uses Google Slides to practice graphing rational functions and identifying any asymptotes, x-intercepts and holes. Students "cut" the cards and "paste" them into the blank boxes to fill in the missing information.

There are two functions that have a hole and one function that has a slant asymptote. If students haven't learned how to find the equation of the slant asymptote, they can easily use process of elimination to figure it out since there is only one function with a slant asymptote.

This activity includes the digital file you can share with students and a PDF containing teacher instructions and answers.

This resource is designed very well, but, truthfully, my students had a difficult time figuring out what to do while trying this through distance learning, even when I provided an explanatory video. I don’t think that’s the author’s fault; I think they just struggled to put forth their best effort in that environment. I just think that *for me*, this works better as a digital activity in person.
