Description

Make math fun by bringing in food and shopping in this real life math project!

Students will use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division as well as estimation in this engaging activity. This product is broken into two lessons and includes discussion on budgets and spending and wrap up questions.

Students will draw an amount that is their food budget and will have to decide what they will spend it on, including quantity of each item. Students will learn to read a grocery store ad and figure out the price of each item they would like to purchase.
