FOLLOW ME ON TPT!
In this project students will go to the grocery store with their families to compare the prices of 4 different items. The students will note the price of the items and the units. Then they will calculate the unit-rate for each item and compare to see which is a better buy.
The students will love this hands-on, real-world activity and it will deepen their understanding of unit-rates.
