This unit is linked to the 2nd Grade Virginia Math Standards. The {Number Sense} Unit includes the following standards:
•VA SOL 2.2
-Identify the ordinal positions first through twentieth, using an ordered set of objects.
-Write the ordinal numbers.
•VA SOL 2.4
-Count forward by 2s, 5s, & 10s to 100, starting at various multiples of 2, 5, & 10.
-Count backward by 10s from 100.
