Description

This chart is recommended for school aged children (PreK-6th grades). It is a motivational tool that can be used at home and at school.
The Home & School Promise Chart helps keep the lines of communication open between the classroom teacher and the students’ parents. Teachers and parents work together to reinforce/reward positive behaviors of the child in the home and school environment.
This chart can be very effective for improving behaviors, however it may take some time before you see results. It is important to be patent and consistent while providing each child with the positive encouragement and motivation that they need to succeed.
Before using the chart, teachers, parents, and students should agree upon a list of rewards/privileges that can be earned by the child, both at school and at home.
