This is a worksheet that can be used in a Consumer Math class. There are 7 questions on this worksheet and each one gives 3 bits of information:
1) How much money you make an hour?
2) The hours you worked in the morning.
3) The hours you worked in the afternoon.

Students are asked to use this information to calculate how much money they would make in a day. I have no included taxes in these problems, I felt like that would be better suited for an activity later in the year. This is simply just having the students using their knowledge of time and calculating the wages.

Also, the problems have specific times (for example: 4:33AM-10:41AM) With this being said, in the directions I have the students calculate the total hours and minutes and then ROUND the minutes to the nearest hour.

Provided is an answer key for the 7 questions.

Included also is an extension activity. If you have students that fly through the worksheet and you want to challenge them more, there are some more activities that you can do included below the answer key!
