Google Slides (interactive/Pear Deck enabled)! No prep required! You can view a video presentation of this resource here.

Teach students about hyphens with this easy to use Google Slides presentation! The presentation looks at the conventions of hyphen use with numbers, compound nouns, and compound adjectives.

The presentation has check questions placed throughout to monitor comprehension and ensure student engagement. Answers are provided in the presenter notes beneath the slides containing the questions.

Included:

45 slides including 7 (Pear Deck enabled) comprehension-check questions.

Please note: If you do not use Pear Deck, you can easily delete the notation on the slides. Alternative approaches for the interactive content include giving each student (or group) a mini whiteboard to hold up with answers to the questions, asking students (individually or in groups) to answer the questions in a notebook, or volunteers to answers on the board.
