Fractions galore! If you're looking for ways to make more meaningful connections to math in the real world, this is the activity for you! Students will embark upon an farm trip where they have to solve 10 fraction activities that are challenges that relate directly to math in the real world. Students identify fractions that could happen on a farm.

⭐ What is This? ⭐
Take your students to the farm in your classroom! Students complete 10 identifying fraction challenges that are real-world farm-themed math problems.

Print out all 10 animal posters and all 10 Farm challenges. Distribute them around your room. Give each child a recording sheet. Explain to students that they will be helping out on the farm! They have to find all ten animals you've left around the classroom and solve the challenge at each animal location. They use the recording sheet to mark off each challenge as they go.

This math activity is perfect for third and fourth graders. It aligns with 3.NF.1 and 3.G.2.
