Description
This no prep, differentiated Partner Riddle Activity gives your Algebra 1 students an engaging and collaborative way to practice identifying key features of graphs at the level they are ready for!
This resource can save you the time and effort of creating additional versions of activities to meet your students' needs. It's done for you! It comes with 2 versions that both lead to the same riddle.
Features Covered: linear & non-linear functions, types of slope (positive, negative, zero, undefined), dependent & independent variables
How It Works: Partner 1 has problem numbers and partner 2 has problem letters. Students will answer the question, and match their answer to one of their partner’s answers, which will give them a number-letter combo. (This makes the activity self-checking!) They'll use that code to complete the riddle answer.
Differentiation Options:
- Version A: Entry Level - Includes 12 questions asking students to identify linear & non-linear graphs and types of slope
- Version B: Goal Level - Includes 10 questions, #1-6 are identical to Version A, #7-10 ask students to identify dependent and independent variables based on graphs
PDF Resource Includes:
- 2 Versions of the Activity
- Answer Keys
