These Common Core aligned math quick checks are perfect for morning work, assessment, homework, review, fast-finisher activities, exit tickets, and math centers.
These math worksheets are provided in TWO formats to best fit your classroom needs – Print and Go and JPEG.

K.G.1 – Shapes and Positional Words
- Match the description to the picture (3 pages)
- Circle the picture that matches the description (4 pages)
- Color the shape that makes the description true (3 pages)
K.G.2 – Naming Shapes
- Match the shape to the name (2 pages)
- Trace the word and draw the shape (2 pages)
- Write the shape using a word bank (4 pages)
- Color the correct shape (2 pages)
- Cut and paste the shapes into the correct column (2 pages)
K.G.3 – 2D & 3D Shapes
- Color 2D shapes and 3D shapes (2 pages)
- Circle the correct shape in each row (2 pages)
- Cut and paste the shape into the correct column (1 page)
- Finish the sentence with FLAT or SOLID (1 page)
- Circle the correct object in each row (2 pages)

- Complete dot to dot and name shapes using word bank (2 pages)
- Trace and draw shapes (1 page)
- Finish drawing shapes and name shapes using word bank (3 pages)
- Construct shapes and name attributes (2 pages)
- Trace shapes and use ruler to draw 5 more (2 pages)
K.G.6 – Compose Simple Shapes to Form Larger Shapes
- Use smaller shapes to make new shape -trace and draw (2 pages)
- Use tangrams to draw a picture (1 page)
- Make given pictures with tangrams and count shapes used in each (3 pages)
- Cut smaller shapes and paste onto larger shapes (4 pages)
