Step 2 of inquiry-based learning reminds students of the variety of resources available to help them find information as they seek to respond to their essential question. Students do not have to automatically reach for a digital resource but use the opportunity to explore and get to know different resource types. People are an invaluable resource and are much easier to contact than they were prior to the launch of social media platforms. They will also prove quite helpful if students' inquiry projects should lead to the development of a product or idea.
