BUG HUNT! Science Worksheets | Activities. This is a great enhancement to your bug, insect, butterfly, summer, or spring science units!

- What bug did you find? draw /write about a bug you found.
- Where are the bugs? - draw or write where you found a bug.
- Bug Hunt (draw and write - 2 versions)

- Build an Insect (cut and glue parts of a bug to create your original bug)

How it works:
Teacher asks the survey question. Students come to the board one at a time to place their voting card under their response to create a large bar graph / pictograph (can use pocket chart too). Students will then answer questions on their response sheet based on the graph they created as a class. OR, use as a morning question. Have the survey question posted. When students come in the classroom they cast their vote (i.e. a basket/tray using the provided labels). Then later you can create the graph as a class and discuss the results. Students use the response sheet to answer questions.
3 Insect/Bug themed Survey Questions included are:
- Are you afraid of spiders?
- Which insect is your favorite? butterfly, dragonfly, ladybug
- Which bug is your favorite? firefly, roly poly, grasshopper

- Anchor Chart/Board Labels for creating graph on board
