This resource was developed to meet the requirements of the 8th Grade Equations & Expressions Standard below:

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.8.EE.1

Know and apply the properties of integer exponents to generate equivalent numerical* expressions.
For example, 3^2 × 3^-5 = 3^-3 = 1/33 = 1/27.

*Note: The standard is specific about understanding and manipulating numerical exponent expressions. These resources do NOT have examples that include variable bases.


LICENSING TERMS: This purchase includes a license for one teacher only for personal use in their classroom. Licenses are non-transferable, meaning they can not be passed from one teacher to another.
