Integer Operations Task Cards as the game, Sum Fun: Integer Operations, is formatted as a great math review game for test prep and STAAR review. This Sum Fun game is perfect for 6th-grade students new to Integers or for 7th and 8th-grade students reviewing skills for test prep or remediation.

Sum Fun: Integer Operations is a fun way to engage students in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers! 6th Grade, 7th Grade, and 8th Grade are built on operations with integers.

This game is made of 32 task cards. The game allows students to work independently, in pairs, or as a group of four to solve Integer Operation problems, and then sum their answers to verify they are correct. If their sum is incorrect, they will be forced to work together to determine which integer operation problem was incorrect, and try again!

Fun, engaging, and competitive way to encourage students to practice Integer Operations!

Students will practice the following Integer skills:

-Add, Subtract, Multiply, and Divide Integers

This was a great activity that my students enjoyed. I was even able to control difficulty level for some students, as certain symbols are more difficult than others. However there were errors on a few of the cards so just be sure to review them all before handing them out; I had to pull a few mid-activity. I will definitely use the activity again though!
