These interactive notebook activities are intended to help students understand that attributes belonging to a category of two-dimensional figures also belong to all subcategories of that category, classify two-dimensional figures in a hierarchy based on properties, and recognize volume as an attribute of solid figures and understand concepts of volume measurement.Included are:
-4 different Geometry activities to engage students
-Teacher facilitated activity for 60-90 minutes of classroom time
-Activities include: Vocabulary, Classifying Polygons, Organizing Polygons by Attributes, Triangles, Quadrilaterals, Prisms, Pyramids, and 3-D Figures.
