In the present mode, students are introduced to coding and learn basic concepts and vocabulary like coding, code, programming, programming languages, instruction, lines of code, etc. They learn about the console and how to write simple print instructions to get results of addition/subtraction or writing out strings. To conclude the lesson they complete exercises to apply what they understood about the lesson.
To try out coding in Python slides with instructions plus a video tutorial are given on how to open an online compiler and run your code. Everything in this product is easy to follow and straightforward which makes it great for the beginning lesson in coding. You don't want to scare your learners away the first day. Coding can feel overwhelming and abstract at first.
How to use this product:
• In a virtual classroom explain the lesson and do on-call activities, then you can ask students to complete the exercise as an assignment on Google Classroom.
• In real life classroom, you can use the slides to lead and explain your lesson, at the end you can ask students to complete the exercises or do them together on the smartboard.
