This is a fun little lesson about weird, wild, and wonderful inventions. Some of the ideas have been borrowed from other inventions lessons I have seen online, but the work is largely mine. There are basically three parts to the class: Famous Inventors, Which Invention is More Important, and Crazy Inventions. For younger classes, it is best to hustle through the first part and get to the more entertaining stuff. I tried to make it as fun as I could, but it still might go over their heads. The second part is a discussion game comparing two inventions that changed the world and trying to decide which one was more important. This is the most interactive part of the lesson, so make it count. The final part is the silly stuff, good for all ages. There are a few examples of funny inventions from Asia, as well as some inventions that look like a whole lot of fun.
