Inverse Functions Foldable for Study and Practice | High School Algebra

If you're looking for a way to help your students learn and understand inverse functions, look no further. This easy-to-use foldable is perfect for students both learning about inverse functions for the first time or starting to practice independently with these problems.

How I use them:

This is a foldable I use when first introducing inverse functions to my Algebra students. It has notes on the front with two methods for finding inverse functions, so students can look back for review and help, and plenty of practice problems on the inside. I use interactive math journals, and these fit right into their journals as they are folded in half on the short edge.

There is also a second half page included that is a self-discovery type activity, where students can see how inverse functions have opposite coordinate points from each other. I usually start my lesson by having students do this part first, which intrigues them enough to want to know why this works.

My Algebra 1 students love these practice foldables. See the rest of my store (links below!) for other hard to find activities on new common core concepts in Algebra such as the "Recursive Formulas Foldable" and the "Explicit Formulas Foldable" made in the same format.

Important Print Settings

You'll want to set your printer setting to print double sided on the short edge, not the long edge, so that the paper will fold right side up on both sides. :)
