Description
Here is a great activity for your students to practice finding and to understand inverse matrices. It includes both a Self Grading Digital version and printable version. There are 15 questions with a mix of multiple choice and short answer. Students do not need a graphing calculator to answer the questions.
The questions are designed to assess whether students understand the concepts of Inverse matrices as well as using manipulations to find inverse matrices. No particular method is mentioned.
Questions include
- Determining if two matrices are inverses
- Finding Inverses of 2x2 and 3x3 matrices with no methods stipulated
- Finding particular elements of an inverse matrix
- Conditions for finding an inverse matrix
- Properties of Invertible and non-invertible square matrices.
