Was excited to find a lesson on Isaac Newton and the law of gravity. The strong focus on speech and language is nice, but could use stronger content. Some of the basic information is incorrect, Newton was born January 4, 1663, not January 25, 1642. The content is not rigorous enough for my K-2 class, and does not focus on his scientific accomplishments, giving only passing information on his learning about gravity because an apple fell on his head. The activity sheets mention apples, then ask for two gravity verbs we would use in a sentence about a boy throwing a football. It did inspire me to research Newton and start over.
